Fifty Shades Darker by E.L. James
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
In Fifty Shades Darker, Christian Grey discovers that he will do almost anything to keep Anastasia Steele in his life and Ana wants to be with Christian. While they are working at making things work between them, relationship from Christian’s past come to haunt them and the result might be deadly.
Fifty Shades Darker seemed to be slower paced book than Fifty Shades of Grey but character growth was more developed. You got an in depth glimpse into the person demons and insecurities facing both Christian and Ana. E.L. James pulls you in once again and you feel like you are an intimate witness to the progression of their lives. There are still many sexual encounters but they didn’t seem so aggressive and they show the transition into something more cherished but still containing that kinky twist. To sum it up…There is character growth, deep personal revelations, heart ache, family, sex, and friendship and once again James leave us wanting more. Yes, these books are worth the buzz!
