An unexpected affair leads to mind-blowing harmony in this Sea Breeze novel from New York Times bestselling author Abbi Glines.
Jason is sick of living in his rock star brother’s shadow. So when he ships off to Sea Breeze, Alabama, he’s looking for a much deserved escape and a chance to blow off some envious steam. Falling for the local bad girl was definitely not the plan. But as the new duo enjoys some naughty fun in the Alabama sun, Jason learns that even though Jax is the musician in the family, he’s not the only brother who can rock someone’s world.
Misbehaving by Abbi Glines
Glines enchants us with a love story about two people that bring out the best in one another.
Jason is looking for a little R&R away from the spotlight but what he finds is the town's “bad girl”...or is she.
Jess is just trying to make her way up in the world. When she meets Jason, she sees him as a temporary fling. But when the heart gets involved, she quickly discovers it could be so much more until tragedy strikes and turns her world upside down.
Desperate times called for desperate matters, Jess doesn't give into desperation but pushes herself to face life head on, no matter how dire the circumstances.
As for Jason, I didn't totally believe he deserved Jess...contrary to what his mother might of thought. He, on the flip side, had much handed to him and still had the whoa-is-me attitude...I need to hide from my brother's fame. I wasn't a big fan of Jason and felt a knock to the head might jar some sense into him a little sooner.
I really enjoyed this story. Glines always writes moving stories that tug on our heart strings. Her characters emotions are vividly displayed creating raw and fresh storylines. Misbehaving did provide a highly entertaining read. I was utterly and completely emotionally invested in the outcome.
I received this ARC copy of Misbehaving from Simon Pulse in exchange for a honest review. This book is set for publication August 5, 2014.
