Seasons by Mario Saincic
My Rating: 5 StarsTrue Romance Lovers unite, tissues in hand, sighs of contentment at the ready, we are off to the island of Sardinia where a successful British architect and a strong American woman are set up to fall in love by and old man and a six-year-old pixie. Author Mario Saincic has created a masterpiece of emotion and atmosphere with his words in the style of an artist creating a masterpiece with their brush.
Graeme strived to give his young family beauty and love, moving to the quiet island of Sardinia. When fate stole his young wife from both himself and his young daughter, he created barriers around his heart, and wore a cloak of loneliness and guilt, never putting her memory to rest.

Jessica came to Sardinia to embrace the art of farming and there was something about an ad written by an older man on Sardinia that struck a chord with her. The perfect excuse to get away from a less than perfect life in the States for six months, Jess’ first day is less than stellar and her first meeting with Graeme is less than endearing. If not for his sprite of a daughter and the conniving ways of his father, that may have been the end of their involvement. Was the fear of intimacy and the guilt of letting go of memories going to always be a stumbling block to what was before their very eyes? When another tragedy strikes, Jess finally understands the feelings Graeme has carried for two years, but can she break through to his heart and release it from its bonds?

Seasons by Mario Saincic proves that love can come again, that with each season of life, there is something beautiful to grasp onto for the future and something beautiful to let go of from the past. From the first page, my heart was transported into each scene and moment within these heartfelt pages. This is a tale to be savored while relishing in its stark warmth, beauty and the magic of love.
