Ever tried “therapy shopping” when you’re a little down? Misty Ryder stopped in at a local shop to browse when she fell in love with a stunning pair of heels, but the proprietor, Mrs. Clathermont said she had something better, returning with a prettiest, sexiest teddy Misty has ever seen. She HAD to have it, desperately, but once it was on, there was no way to remove it and Misty’s life became a nightmare, or her nightmares became a reality that could lead to justice for the former owner. What secrets does this teddy hold? Why has Misty become the vessel of redemption and revenge for the former owner? Is she losing her mind? The teddy brings out a wanton side of Misty she never knew she had, but solving the mystery of the owner’s death is becomes a deadly game that Misty may not be able to win. Helped by a Sheriff’s Deputy, Jack, they race against time and claims of insanity to help a troubled spirit move on.
The Spellbound Spirit by Lana Hart has all the mystery, intrigue and spookiness of a haunting gone wrong! Drop in a little revenge, a little romance, some shady characters and an eye-popping secret and this twisted journey becomes magnetic. Dark, dangerous and riveting, this fantasy could make shop-aholics think twice before saying they “NEED” that one special item!
My only problem was the ick factor…have you any idea how long Misty had to wear that teddy? On the other hand, it did bring out the horror in the tale for me!
