You have to love those brawny men in kilts protecting what is theirs, from family to home to land. Get ready for sigh-worthy romance, between two of the best matched characters ever! Lady Francis is a down-to-earth woman, who has a mind of her own in a time where women were considered political pawns in the game of power, making allies and babies. Sean Gunn is one of the famous Gunn Guardsmen, known for their strength and fighting prowess who has just become the Laird of his uncle’s estate. Part of his late uncle’s wishes were that he marry Francis, once a lady of the court, and become father to her young daughter, roles that he took to quite well! Was it Francis’ beauty or her brains and common sense that drew him in? Was it her eagerness to enjoy “bedsport?” Her willingness to take the pleasure he could offer? What could have been a fairytale ending became a frightening mystery of murderous proportions and the vile villain could not be found. With things heating up in the bedroom and danger getting ever closer, Sean is determined to keep his family safe, but can he do it alone?
