Synopsis:
While Merit didn’t choose to become a vampire or Sentinel of Cadogan House, she vowed to fight for her House and its Master, and she’s managed to forge strong alliances with powerful supernaturals across Chicago. But even though Merit has had wild adventures, this may be her deadliest yet...

A killer is stalking Chicago, preying on humans and leaving his victims with magical souvenirs. The CPD hasn’t been able to track the assailant, and as the body count rises, the city is running out of options. Vampires and humans aren’t on great terms, but murder makes for strange bedfellows. Can Merit find the killer before she becomes a target?

Blood Games (Chicagoland Vampires, #10)My Review:
Blood Games by Chloe Neill

Blood Games is a highly entertaining, action, adventure with the perfect mix of romance and enough sexual tension to get your blood pumping.

Ethan has declared his wishes to run the GP so the entire Cadogan House is on alert waiting for the next head to roll. What will Darius do with Ethan's challenge?

Meanwhile, there is a killer preying on Chicagoans leaving souvenirs behind that link the killings to each magical creature residing in the area. Merit must solve this mystery while dealing with a secretive Ethan.

I did have a minor issue with this story. I was taken aback by Ethan's reactions to be threatened. It seemed like he needed to find some back bone, his self recrimination was unwarranted. For someone with all this experience, he sure made some really stupid relationship moves. Merit, on the other hand, handled Ethan's brain fart with amazing control and maturity...showing great character growth. Even with my slight issue with Ethan, Blood Games and the Chicagoland Vampires series still contains one of my all time favorite couples, Merit and Ethan. I rank them right up there with Cat and Bones.

The story was fun, exciting, sexy and fresh. I found it immensely entertaining and look forward to see what happens next. I do hope that with Ethan's past and his secretiveness is a thing of the past and doesn't become the next speed bump for Merit to traverse.
