But other assassins are coming for Holly. Will must transform from killer to protector and find the man who wants Holly dead . . . or his only chance for redemption will be lost.

Evernight (Darkest London, #5)My Review
Evernight by Kristen Callihan

I know it seems lately I’ve been on a Steampunk binge and I kind of have but only because all these incredible series are coming out with the next installments. I count Darkest London one of these must follow series so of course I jumped at the chance to read Evernight. For those of you who haven’t read Callihan, this series is a mix between steampunk, magic, fantasy and paranormal with a strong romantic content. Yes, everything I love in my reads.

Once again, Callihan provides a high velocity, action packed, adventure with deep characters that you can really hold onto.

Holly was captured, tortured with the atrocities she had to perpetuate and is living a life of seclusion. Will, a demon, was one of the atrocities Holly created. He is tortured by the changes and has a singular goal, kill Holly.

Strong chemistry and an utterly imaginative storytelling, makes Evernight a wonderful read and an excellent addition to the Darkest London series. I have to tell you the story was really enjoyable but the last ¼ of the book was truly outstanding, pulling me in and making me feel like part of the story.

I received this ARC copy of Evernight from Forever (Grand Central Publishing)in exchange for a honest review. This book is set for publication August 26, 2014.
