Deep in the Louisiana
bayou, Mala LaCroix cannot escape the mysterious things she's seen.
Haunted by her otherworldly past, she only wants to hide her special
abilities and care for the man she's come to love. But the dark swamp
she calls home holds more than just Mala's secrets, for a killer is
leaving behind ghosts trapped between worlds, hungry for vengeance . . .
Landry knows Mala could never turn her back on those in need.
It's part of what attracts him to her. But now that he's wrestling with
his own demons-and losing-he fears that just being near the woman he
loves endangers her life. And that traps him in a terrible dilemma:
leave Mala alone to catch a murderer by herself or stay close-and risk
entangling her in the brutal battle for his very soul.
Dark Redemption by Angie Sandro
Do you know much about magic, demons, possession or witches, Louisiana swamp style? Let Angie Sandro guide you through the treacherous waters of the Dark Paradise series. The final book, Dark Redemption is as twisted and convoluted as its predecessors, but has the responsibility of bringing it all together.
Mala and Landry have seen good times, bad times and now, their time together may be cut short as black magic rears its ugly head in one last battle. Game time is over, no more toying with its prey, but will Mala and Landry get help from unlikely places? Is Mala strong enough to protect her soul from evil as Landry battles of his inner demon for dominance? Unsolvable murders, deceit and betrayal come at Mala from every quarter as an angry ghost wreaks havoc and destruction and someone who should have loved her and protected her, fails to do so, one last time. As Mala’s powers grown, so does the love between her and Landry, but will is it enough to save them?
Angie Sandro has once again taken her readers on a journey through the dark and mystical side of life, where the impossible becomes real and the non-believers learn to believe. She writes with an edge that pulls no punches and adds to the chaos going on in the world she has created.
If Angie Sandro hadn’t brought Mala’s story home so perfectly, I think I might have cried. Not too much of anything, it felt right, kind of like safely getting off a plane filled with little kids after riding out a turbulent flight. You’re relieved, you’re reflective and now that the end is here, you want to shake the pilot’s hand for a great ride!
