Love is a powerful emotion, but can it change the course of someone’s destiny?

Ceri’s journey has begun. Part 1 of three novellas in the Angels Among Us series

Falling (Angels Among Us #1)My Review
Falling by Linn B. Halton
Do you believe in premonitions? Ceri has always had a “gift” for seeing or feeling things about people, some are good things, some are bad, but she cannot always stop what will happen. Confused, the man she secretly has feelings for becomes her confidant, but negative feelings about their relationship tears them apart before it really begins. Both search for spiritual answers, but will they find what they need to know to share their love? Do people make their own destiny or is our path already mapped out?

Very short, character-driven and not overly filled with deep spirituality, as Ceri discovers who she really is, she must settle into her purpose on earth, but will she be happy without love?

Falling by Linn B. Halton is a quick, light read that touches on emotions, premonitions and the purpose in life. Ceri is a wonderful character, kind, intelligent and hurting. Alex is vaguer, yet there is a special feeling that he emits. A thought-provoking novella with a positive spin on the good in people, their gifts and their destiny. A romance with so much more, fleshed out, this would be a delightful novel.
