All I Want for Christmas is You (Coming Home 5.5)My Review
All I Want for Christmas is You by Jessica Scott

For many returning soldiers the horrors of war change them, and even they don’t know how or why. The struggle to reintegrate into society after living on the edge every minute of their existence leaves scars that must be healed. When one woman comes home from Iraq, she feels the change, it is an explosive emptiness and she bottles everything up, then runs from the man who loves her no matter what, tearing her daughter from the only father she has known.

What kind of Christmas they have depends on the determination of one major, one little girl and her Christmas wish and one Captain, willing to a take a chance and reach out for help.

Jessica Scott may not have written a long tale here, but she wrote one with a powerful message of hope for the future and for the gift of love while highlighting the pain and anguish faced by returning soldiers and their loved ones. There were times I wanted to cry, wanted to hug them all and times that just tugged at my heart. Without digging too deep, the message has come through with a touch of darkness, the magic of Christmas and the blessing of a strong love. All I Want For Christmas is You sets the tone for Holiday Romance and the miracles of love.

I received an ARC edition from Jessica Scott in exchange for my honest review.
