When Alexis James arrives at her first assignment in months, she anticipates the danger and violence rife in her calling as a Lycan Hunter. What she doesn’t expect is a handsome, blue-eyed wolf saving her life and kidnapping her. Surrounded by the enemy, Alexis must not only survive her prisoners but the bonds of a different sort that begin to form against her will.
Mikko Kyran was chosen by the gods to lead his pack, and he has made it his mission to end the eight thousand years of war plaguing his people. The Alpha never suspected that the key to the prophecy ending the Forever War would be held by a smart-mouthed, sexy Hunter determined to kill him.
Can two people from different worlds set aside everything they know about one another long enough to survive retribution from the Hunters, the pack, and the gods? Or will their differences start a war that neither can win?

The Lycan HunterMy Review
The Lycan Hunter by Kelsey Jordan

Are you ready to leave your world and dive into Kelsey Jordan’s? The Lycan Hunter is going to pull you into its land of Lycans, Hunters, and the gods that created or took a fancy to watching over them!

The little Hunter, Alexis, raised an outcast, has a fierceness about her that could bring the toughest warrior to his knees, but an injury takes her directly into the heart of lycan territory and into the hands and arms of Kyran, an alpha all the way. Sworn enemies, Alexis finds it hard to believe these “savages” could be so caring, so advanced and so nice, well, except for Kyran who is struggling with an aura he saw shining around Alexis, which can mean only one thing, and denial is his first reaction. There is no way this little ball of hate could be his soul’s mate. To top it off, there is a prophecy involved and the gods and fate are probably laughing with twisted delight at his predicament. Can two polar opposites actually be meant for each other? If they were to mate, would it be like two bulls butting heads at every decision? Would his pack even accept someone who admits to killing their kind? And what’s with the god of destruction hanging around, sticking his godliness into their business? Is their chemistry foretold or will it explode like a science project gone wrong?

Let’s be honest, there are a few paranormal reads out there, is it even possible to put a fresh coat of lipstick on this genre? Without a doubt, YES and Kelsey Jordan is the artist to thank. Her brilliant attention to world building and her larger than life character development, blending of gods and humans with lycans is done with a wonderful imagination and a touch of suspenseful moments. For those lighter moments, depend on the gods, particularly Lykil, the god of destruction! What a pushover! LOVED HIM!

Hats off to Kelsey Jordan and this brilliantly entertaining new series start!

I received this copy from the author in exchange for my honest review.
