Synopsis:

Broderick MacDougal follows the familiar yearning of his soul to a fierce warrior who is as seductive as a siren at sea—and she is just as deadly. Broderick not only finds himself in the midst of an ancient war of shape shifters, but the devious Cordelia Harley has re-entered his life and has a few of her own surprises.

Born into a hated race of Norse werewolves, Celina Hunter knows all too well the dangers of trusting anyone other than her two brothers. And yet the survival of her family hinges on trusting the strangely familiar Broderick MacDougal, a natural enemy of her kind…yet one her tribe’s Shaman advisers confirm is her soul mate. Enemy or not, Celina slips into the spell of this vampire's promises of eternal love, gambling with all she holds dear.

Broderick and Celina are bound by a curse, but having come this far through the centuries, Broderick is not about to risk his chance at having his soul mate for eternity. The price, however, may be more than Celina is willing to pay as there is more at stake than just her immortal soul.

Midnight Eclipse (Bonded by Blood Vampire Book #4)My Review
Midnight Eclipse by Arial Burnz

Cursed to love someone who loves you back? I suppose having your one true soul mate for eternity could be a curse if it takes several lifetimes to keep finding each other. Thanks to Arial Burnz and her latest hit, Midnight Eclipse we get one hot vampire and one beautiful and wicked-awesome werewolf who, once again find their heart’s desire, but can it last this time or will history repeat itself, tearing them apart one more time?

Broderick MacDougal is still searching for the soul mate he lost so long ago and finds himself caught up in an ancient shifter war, coming face to face with a beautiful warrior were, Celina Hunter who feels the same pull, the same need, but does she run into his open arms? Nooooooo, not Celina! Even when she is told by the three seers that her enemy, a vampire, is her soul mate and they are fated to love each other, she still can’t quite admit the passion she feels for this dream lover, and we are talking heated passion, like turn molten lava hot! Imagine dreaming night after night about a man you cannot see, but you can feel every single touch and caress.

Meanwhile, Broderick’s brother has resurfaced, and the results are sometimes heartbreaking, aggravating and finally, completely tear-worthy. Will they bury the silver somewhere other than in each other’s hearts? And the Illuminati? Argh!

So, once again, we are thrust into the world of Arial Burnz’s extremely vivid imagination! Ms. Burnz writes with her own deep passion for her work, and its shows as each scene comes to life, each word is heard and each emotion is felt! No need to worry that too much is going on, as Ms. Burnz keeps everything running smoothly! I swear there were times when I thought I may hyperventilate during the dream sequences-perhaps a bottle of smelling salts should be included with this book?

I received this copy from Arial Burnz in exchange for my honest review.
