Synopsis:

When Ianthe began her career as a faery godmother, she stumbled so badly that Snow White will probably never speak to her again. After a long suspension, she’s finally been given a chance to redeem herself…but everything on this latest assignment is going wrong.

But why?

Worse, she definitely doesn’t need an attractive mortal man distracting her from her duties. Of course, needs and wants are two different things.

Briak has had his eye on Ianthe for a very, very long time, but he’s been waiting for just the right moment to make his move. Despite the fact all hell’s about to break loose on his watch, he can’t resist the opportunity to insert himself into her earthly assignment. Can he convince Ianthe of her true calling and thereby win her heart? Or will his subterfuge ultimately cost him her love?

Changeling's CrownMy Review
Changeling's Crown by Juli D. Revezzo

What do you think it would take to make Snow White upset? How about a botched gig as a faery godmother? Ianthe is beautiful, she is kind, warm and caring, but as a faery godmother? Let’s say she wasn’t Valedictorian of her class, not for lack of trying, but perhaps for trying too hard, who knows. Ianthe has one chance to earn her wand back and her assignment is near impossible, not to mention one sneaky little magic user is gunning for her, big time.

Ianthe is told to cowgirl up and help a divorcing couple out. First stop, their riding facilities where she meets a handsome and charming mortal who makes her heart go giddyup. But is there more to this man than meets the eye?

On the dark side of fairyland, a Dark King has made it his mission to capture the lovely Ianthe’s heart and hand, but she is a light faery and a battle is in the making as the two sides may clash in war. Briak is determined to make Ianthe see he is the one for her, but will his deceit ruin any chance between them? Is his royal highness’ timing a little off to be playing a mortal cowboy to lasso the faery of his dreams or does he know something Ianthe doesn’t that make them the perfect match? What side will she take in battle?

Changeling’s Crown by Juli D. Revezzo is a delightfully light fantasy romance filled with humor, an endearing heroine and a darkly fascinating hero. Ianthe is bright, positive and has just enough attitude to believe she really is magical. Briak exposes both sides of his personality, the overbearing and dark ruler and the warm and charming cowboy. Which is the real Briak? Together, Ms. Revezzo has proven that there is no dark or light when talking about love and attraction, but there are boundaries never to cross, unless you find your true self in the arms of someone who sees you as perfect!

Fun, fast, filled with light humor, a taste of darkness and just the right touch of magic, kind of makes you forget that Ianthe DID have a job to do!

I received this copy from Juli D. Revezzo in exchange for my honest review.
