A collection of chick lit short stories set around April Fools’ Day. On the first day of April, tricksters play their pranks, but what will be the outcome? Some will find love, while others will experience betrayal. Other pranksters will seize adventure and travel to confess or rekindle romance. Some may face rejection, seek forgiveness, or earn a second chance. How love and laughter rule the day.

Fools Rush In! An April Fools Day AnthologyMy Review
Fools Rush In: An April Fool's Day Anthology by Celia Kennedy

Sometimes anthologies can be like winning the “secret grab bag,” lots of stuff inside, some are pretty awesome and some can’t make it to the trash fast enough. The stories are short so the pressure is on to connect, build the tension and bring it home in just a few pages.

Imagine getting a huge grab bag, with stories from authors you know and some who have their very first published worked just waiting for you to read! You slowly open the bag, ever so cautiously and begin to read and you keep reading and read some more, then just one more story, because they are that good and all of a sudden you are at the bottom of the bag and its empty and you are grinning from ear to ear.

Welcome to my world as I read Fools Rush In! An April Fool’s Day Anthology, eight absolutely charmingly romantic tales, filled with pranks, more pranks and some really different pranks! From the office “Secret Jokesters” (think Secret Santa on laughing gas) to the engagement prank that backfired!

Perfect reading for busy days, when you can only steal a minute or two to read, or are waiting at the doctor’s office! You may want to give your appointment slot to the next person just so you can keep reading. (You might, you ever know) Fun, lighthearted, definitely fluffy chicklit material, these April Fool’s tales will surprise you with everything from a new job, to a new romance, to feats of magic that will amaze you!

Hats off to Celia Kennedy, S.E. Babin, Laurie Baxter, Amy Gettinger, Whitney Dineen, Connie Stephany and Engy Albasel Neville, Suzy Jay and Karen Eleni (contributor), a winning writing team with a magical way with words, no fooling!

I received this copy from Celia Kennedy in exchange for my honest review.
