Don’t let yesterday’s regrets control your future.

Rocked by her husband’s infidelity and subsequent divorce, Emmy Bennett is doing her best to keep her children’s lives steady and not repeat the mistakes of her past. Selling her jewelry to pay the mortgage seems like a great idea until she finds herself face-to-face with a gun.

Retired Navy SEAL, Ed Jackson, is captivated by Emmy the first moment he sees her. Her nervous mannerisms get his attention, but when he saves Emmy from an attempted robbery, he discovers that maybe he’s pulled to her for reasons other than his curiosity.

No More RegretsMy Review
No More Regrets by Tamra Lassiter

She had lived through the nightmare of a marriage of affluence torn apart by infidelity and deceit. He was a retired SEAL, with darkness in his past. They met when she stared down the barrel of a gun in an attempt to stay afloat financially for the sake of her children and he stepped in to save her. Emmy is now alone with her children to support, a mortgage to pay and an ex-husband and mother-in-law to contend with. The last thing she wanted was to repeat past mistakes, but Ed saved her life and in the ways of attraction, there is chemistry, real chemistry. Like a moth to a flame, Ed is attracted to Emmy, but there is evil surrounding her, attempting to ensure she cannot stand on her own.

How can Ed leave her unprotected? How could Emmy let him stay around, she needs to learn to be independent and Ed would be too easy to lean on. But independence does not mean one cannot have a warm place to go to for safety and shelter.

No More Regrets by Tamra Lassiter is a heart clenching tale of two people who learn that there can always be a second chance for happiness. The past is just that, the past-gone, over, good or bad and by helping another, we help ourselves move forward to a future that will be filled with surprises and light.

Wonderful characters populate a this edgy world, from good to evil, innocent to determined, mysterious to priceless, they all have their place in bringing this tale to life. Tamra Lassiter can tell a tale and make her readers FEEL it, page after page; and this is why I read.

I received this copy from the author in exchange for my honest review.
