Synopsis:

The Man of the Month The last thing Taylor Krebs wants is a man. Her crazy, possessive ex-boyfriend has caused her enough drama to last a lifetime. Putting drama and men behind her she focuses on her fledgling photography business. That is, until gorgeous fireman Joe Marino--otherwise known as Mr. September on the Sexy Public Servants Charity Calendar--walks into her life. Joe wants Taylor to photograph burn victims pro bono for a book he's spearheading for the Burn Recovery Support Group...and he'll do everything in his power to persuade her to take on his cause.

Taylor soon finds out that she isn't immune to Joe's persuasive charms--both professionally and personally--and soon they are burning up the sheets. But will Joe's secrets and Taylor's need for quiet stability tear them apart? Or will this Man of the Month also end up being Taylor's love for all days?

Burning for YouMy Review
Burning for You by Michele Dunaway

When a beautiful young woman becomes the official photographer for the annual charity calendar, little did she know that she would be staring into her lens at more than eye-candy. All was well, until Mr. September stood there, all sexy, hot and self-assured flirtatious muscle. Taylor just wants the money, not an entanglement that could end up as crazy as her last one, but there is something underneath the surface of Joe Marino’s cocky fa├žade. It would be much later when Taylor could decipher what lay there, but would it be too late to make amends to the man she was falling in love with?

Joe is an experienced firefighter, a man used to drama and needing a cool head, but he is losing his hold on himself the more he sees Taylor. A long self-imposed dating hiatus for personal reasons may be coming to a close, but is Taylor the kind of woman to accept him, flaws and all? The flames sizzling between them could raise a 4 alarm blaze, if it gets out of control, will betrayal dowse the flames or will acceptance of oneself be the fuel of true passion?

Burning for You by Michele Dunaway is a light, fluffy read that skims across dark topics and even darker secrets without turning all maudlin and dreary. She treats each character as the star, including those lending support to the main characters. Lots of humor, romantic heat and self-discovery all wrapped up in a quick read that should fit perfectly into your beachbag! I might add, beware of the cougars on the prowl, they will crack you up!

I received an ARC edition from St. Martin's Press in exchange for my honest review.
