Inspired by the recent news about Bill Cosby, this novel explores the reasons why men engage in such practices and why many women choose not to report them. In this novel, Phil Nauser, a famous comedian, reveals his history with women starting with the drugging of college girls while a star quarterback.
Feeling invincible after these sexual encounters with no consequences, he continues to pursue this method in his early comedy career. Without any real relationships with women, his sexual preferences eventually evolve into role playing with both reluctant participants and willing partners.
Finally, faced with multiple accusations and much anxiety, he structures a unique method for dealing with the situation.

All About Phil by Dee Michaels

All About PhilHow does it make you feel when someone whose name brings good memories, perhaps as an entertainer, but it could be anyone with celebrity status. Scandal, long hidden under the rug of shame or buried under piles of payoff money has allowed fictional entertainer Phil Nauser to keep a squeaky-clean reputation throughout his life. He is a star, a bright light in a sometimes cloudy world. He is also a fake, a sexual predator and one group of women is willing to expose him for what he is, if he refuses to pay their price.
Meanwhile, not yet aware of his dilemma, Phil has found other ways to drug, fondle and rape beautiful young women, until he finds his sexually deviant match and a new career is born, just as distasteful, just as sexually titillating for Phil, but completely legal. Will his threatened exposure be a boon or bust for this business? Will the public believe in the dark side of this man? Will his money payoff the victims or has his ticket to ride just been revoked?

All About Phil by Dee Michaels tells the story of one man, his dirty little secrets and his lack of remorse for his actions. The character Phil is shallow, self-centered and twisted, in private. The day he met a new victim, who enjoyed his games was the day he found his own personal heaven. Are power over the masses, their adoration and the resulting wealth not enough for a person who lives in the limelight? With simple and stark scenes, there is no dressing up the events in this tale. Does it explore WHY people choose the path of sexual predator? Not really, but it does cause the mind to imagine real-life victims, predators and the consequences or lack of if “outed.” Leave your embarrassment at the door, with plenty of shallow erotic scenes, this is porn with words, no romance, no battle between good and evil, but it is an escape into another world that is short, and leaves more to the imagination than a DVD while playing on current events that have rocked the world. 2.5 stars

I received this copy from the author in exchange for my honest review.
