Arley Copeland vows never to trust anyone, much less a man, ever again. After her fledgling career as a romance writer grinds to a halt and her ex blabs to the press about her preferences in bed, she heads to Gypsy Beach desperate to regain some anonymity and maybe figure out what to do next.

Divorce attorney John Rowan has been in on the explosive end of more marriages than he can count. Love never lasts. Of that he’s certain. Sick of barely existing inside the concrete jungle of Atlanta with the endless traffic and endless noise he heads towards a two-week reprieve in Gypsy Beach, North Carolina.

From the moment he lays eyes on Arley Copeland, John is determined to prove that not every guy on the planet is out to hurt her, and maybe teach her a thing or two about herself in his bed and out. With every sinfully sweet caress, they’re falling more and more in love. Their pasts may be fading away, but will John ever be prepared to risk it all on a lifetime love when he doesn’t believe such a thing could ever exist?

Gypsy Love by Jillian Neal (Gypsy Beach, #2)

Gypsy LoveWelcome back to Gypsy Beach, a place where the magic of two souls entwine with passion, romance and a lot of heat! Arley is on the run from disappointment, hurt and a family who discounts all she has accomplished as a romance writer as shameful. John is a divorce attorney, so his opinion of a never-ending love is that it does not exist and his clientele are his proof. Fate or Gypsy magic brings them together on Gypsy Beach, and the rest is passionate history in the making.

Jillian Neal’s Gypsy Love once again brings two people together with passion and heat, as one man finds the one woman he wants to protect and cherish, while discovering the secrets of her body, mind and soul. Ms. Neal brings the sand, the beach and her characters to life in her signature way. Some authors gently turn up the heat, but “Signature Jillian” cranks it up to high and lets events boil over, completely, kind of like a volcano giving in to the pressure!

Never expect tame passion from Ms. Neal, it is not her style, expect her hero to take charge in all ways from his verbal endearments to his passionate appetites. What else can her heroines do but go along, giving their won “lessons?” I will say the dialogue between the sheets is reminiscent of other works by Ms. Neal and my mind did wander to other scenes in another series. But they say love is the universal language, so why wouldn’t terms of passion be, too?

I received this copy from Jillian Neal in exchange for my honest review.
