The Post-Apocalypse Writers' Phrase Book is the perfect tool to inspire creativity for authors writing apocalyptic, post-apocalyptic, dystopian, prepper and zombie fiction. You get over 4,000 radioactive ways to describe the end of the world, including: alien invasions, artificial intelligence, cosmic events, natural disasters, nanotechnology, nuclear war, plague, robots, and more! Plus, everything you need to describe survivors, mutants, cyborgs, and societies from anarchy to utopias. And plenty of weapons, vehicles, bunkers, bomb shelters, looting, scavenging, radiation, dead bodies, dark emotions, and gore... the list goes on!

This book makes a great gift for anyone into survival and emergency preparedness who has ever thought of writing for fun or professionally.

This is Book 2 in the Writers' Phrase Book series and shares substantial overlapping content with Book 1: Horror Writers' Phrase Book. Each book is a stand-alone product, and you do not need to buy both unless you are writing cross-genre stories with content only the other book provides. Note that future Writers' Phrase Books will feature less overlapping content as we cover genres set in different time periods or worlds altogether.

Book 3 will be the Fantasy Writers' Phrase Book. Watch for it soon...

Post-Apocalypse Writers' Phrase Book by Jackson Dean Chase

Post-Apocalypse Writers' Phrase Book (Writers' Phrase Books, #2)When you read a post-apocalyptic novel, how do the mental images get in your head? How do you feel the fear, the anger or the determination to fight back along with the characters? How does your stomach churn, your tension rise and your heart beat faster? The answer is simple, through the words conveyed by the author. The author works hard to bring readers into the story, to believe in what is happening and to grasp the horror of it all. With.Words. Words have power, but the right words or phrases have the power to sucker punch the reader and drag them in.

One of the horror genre’s powerful wordsmiths, Jackson Dean Chase has put together enough phrases to convey gasp-worthy terror, horror and steer a tale in any direction he wants it to go. His hope is to share a way for other authors, new, old or yet to be to use his “how to convey” book as another tool in the creative arsenal of anyone looking to grab a reader’s attention and hold it.
Does his book only pertain to the written word? Not at all, do you tell campfire stories, just curious about how to say something different? Why not try a few, in the dark, on Halloween, flashlight to face?

The Post-Apocalypse Writers' Phrase Book by Jackson Dean Chase made me feel even I could write a book, and yes, I read every page. I have already admitted I have a twisted side hiding in the shadows…waiting for my first zombie sighting, when I will take videos and describe the chaos in gory detail.

When an author is willing to share the twisted thoughts that run through his head to aid others in their writing, how could one NOT want to find out what they might be missing? Jackson Dean Chase is sharing the wealth here and it can be gut-clenching.

I received this copy from Jackson Dean Chase in exchange for my honest review.
