Where there is light, there is dark.
The two halves make a whole…
Or do they constantly battle for dominance?

Juliet Julius has watched her daughter, Kenna, grow into a fierce young woman. She has protected her. She has guarded her. She has sacrificed all she had to give. And she tried her hardest to keep her from the Dark.

But now it's Juliet’s turn.
Her social life is no longer on hold.
Juliet can shimmy her hips whenever she wants.

But it’s too bad those hips attract so much attention. Juliet might just have a sinister problem of her own. In the form of one hell of an alpha male who wants nothing more than to destroy her…and to sensually devour her body.

Blood Tree: Part 2 by Scarlett Dawn

Blood Tree: Part TwoLet’s face it, motherhood is the same no matter who or what you are, you sacrifice, protect and guide. That is exactly what Juliet did for Kenna, but now is Juliet’s time to live again, to find love, enjoy the freedom of being alive and to savor the joy of the daughter she raised alone. Leave it to Scarlet Dawn to make this newfound freedom a trip down memory lane as an old lover shows up in all of his dark glory and the pages begin to heat up. Blood Tree: Part Two digs into Juliet’s past, to the night Kenna was conceived.

It is now up to Kenna to choose between the Light and the Dark, but Juliet faces her own choices and demands made by the dark alpha who claims her. Has he the right? How does Kenna fit into this tale? Love and desire know no dark or light, but the heart and the body know when they have found their match.

Gah! Scarlett Dawn, you have that special gift of creating so much from so few words! Who knew I could be so surprised by the revelations you set forth? Who knew I would have to re-read part two just feel that zing again, kind of like sticking your finger into a light socket or licking a 9 volt battery! Scarlett Dawn hit another out of the ballpark, sparks flying, without even trying!

I received an ARC edition from Scarlett Dawn in exchange for my honest review.
