Elam helps Catherine deliver her child and a strong bond forms between them. But outside, biding his time until the squall passes someone longs to claim both of their lives and take what is rightfully his…the child.

 Catherine's Cowboy by Cait Braxton

Catherine's Cowboy ( Western Romance )Lots of story to bite into here as Cait Braxton adds her novella, Catherine’s Cowboy to the anthology Silver Bells and Stetsons

A white girl, taken by the Kiowa years before, escapes the brutality of her powerful husband while ready to give birth. Alone, she is determined to save both herself and her child when Elam comes across her hiding out in a rundown shack during a vicious dust storm. Discovered by the Kiowa hunting party hot on her tail, Elam defends her and makes a deal for her freedom. Will it be honored?

Cait Braxton did an amazing job with the few pages she worked with for this novella! A tale filled with fear, bravery and honor, the feeling of hope for the future still shines through! Quick reading with a helping hand from fate, perfect for Holiday western romance lovers who only have a few minutes to spare. I’m impressed with how much story came through in so few words!

I received this copy as part of a review for the anthology Silver Bells and Stetsons from Lyn Horner.

    2. The Kiowa were fierce, even more so than the Comanche.
