From the New York Times bestselling author of A Terrible Love comes a story of unspoiled passion within a dark post-apocalyptic world....

Elise, Calia, Philip and Adahy grow restless within the tree clan, and long to move forward in their individual life paths. Can they see through their destiny, or must they remain in a circumstance not of their choosing?

Jim has choices—none of them good. He can't shift back to his human form—he can't return to earth.

When Adira makes a devastating decision, and the consequences rain down on Ulric's tree clan—is there any way they'll survive?

The Dark Savage (#6.5): Alpha Warriors of the Band (The Savage Series) (Brief-Bites Novelette)Survival of the fittest or the most fortunate? Unlikely alliances are made in the name of survival, but how long can they wait in a limbo of sorts, waiting for the other shoe to drop? The sense of restlessness is growing, life is waiting to be lived, but the danger is waiting, too. One bad decision shifts the balance between survival and death.

Throughout Tamara Rose Blodgett’s creation of this world, and each brief bite she offers, I have to say, Jim and his predicament has always stuck with me. His name comes up and I hope this will be the time he can return to his human form, could this finally be it? Will he be able to return to Earth or will he be forever stuck in this world and its dark ways?

Aaaannnnddd, once again, Tamara Rose Blodgett pours a LOT of story into just a few words and still manages to remind who wrote this with her fabulous dialogue and fully developed characters in The Dark Savage – 6.5.

I received this copy from Tamara Rose Blodgett in exchange for my honest review.
