Adi and Slash have fallen prey to the corrupt Were, as Tramack doggedly seeks that which he does not deserve. Can Tessa and Tahlia escape? Will Lanarre royalty cage Tahlia, or will Drek set her free?

Blood Enchantment by Tamara Rose Blodgett (Blood #6)

Blood Enchantment (Blood, #6)Are you ready to go through Hell and back with Tamara Rose Blodgett in Blood Enchantment? That’s where Ms. Blodgett is taking us as the chaos of her world begins to grow sharper, edgier, more intense, more dangerous. Among the betrayals there are promises kept and the Singer Queen must stand for her people, decide what path to take, knowing it will affect everyone she knows, everyone who counts on her leadership. But how can Julia do that while still locked away in the name of protection?

Praile’s evil is running at fever pitch, the vile demonic knows no limits to depravity. Is no race safe? Ms. Blodgett gives the spotlight to so many favorite couples, so many characters as they face danger and possible death. Pay close attention, there are many voices to hear, many instances to piece together as each event unfolds into the larger portrait of love, war and survival.

As always, Tamara Rose Blodgett adds vivid scenes, in-your-face action and some of the most earthy and realistic dialogue between characters, ever. For me, this is one of her greatest strengths as the characters come to life through more than their actions, but their thought processes and the words they use. Always riding the edges of any genre she writes, Ms. Blodgett seems ahead of the curve in uncovering new and unique worlds and conflicts.

I received this copy from Tamara Rose Blodgett in exchange for my honest review.
