After spending the last four years trapped in a place of monsters, demons, and magick, the last thing the fierce teenage bounty hunter Greta expected was to ever be back on Earth. But a rare opportunity gives her and the Goblin King Isaac the opportunity to do just that. Now she’s home. With a boy in tow. And her parents have lots of questions.
Although Greta finally has her heart’s deepest wish—to see her family again—every step she takes to reconnect with them drives her further away from Isaac. Greta and Isaac planned for her to return to Mylena and become his queen, but she’s not sure if she can go back to that harsh world, though staying on Earth means giving up the boy she loves.
But a powerful enemy refuses to let Greta escape. A demon who will stop at nothing to destroy her and everything she loves. Even if it means following her to Earth and forcing her to face a fate as unavoidable as love itself.
Greta and the Lost Army by Chloe Jacobs
Greta and the Lost Army, What an incredible climax to the Mylena Chronicles!
After battling to survive in Mylena, Greta, the boys and the Goblin King Isaac are all transported back into the human earth realm. To say it’s an adjustment is an understatement, Greta in an attempt to reunite the stolen children with their parents returns to her parents and the life she left behind. Acclimating back into the life she dreamed of returning to is much harder than Greta ever imagined.
Now Greta must decide her life path. Return to Mylena, the battle with the demon and be with the one she loves or stay with her family, safety and the life of her dreams.
I’ve followed this series from the beginning and have been with Greta every step of the way. Greta’s character is about to make more leaps and bounds and boy, am I glad I’ve been along for the ride.
Chloe Jacobs has created a dark and desperate world in need of a savior and masterfully grouped together unexpected heroes and heroines to rally in that roll. I flat out loved it. It entertained, I became emotionally connected and most of all I didn’t want it to end. @YABookShelf
