Ohhh, my noggin. What has happened? I took a whallop upside the head and woke up in a place far from my time and home. Instead of it being the modern era of 1877 like it ought to be, I am in the distant past of England’s Dark Ages! There are mighty warriors in gleaming armour, and beautiful ladies wearing colourful gowns with taffeta secured dunce caps.

This is the castle Camelot! I am in the company of King Arthur and his majestic Knights!

Golly, can you imagine? Me, Ichabod Temperance, an Alabama tinker in King Arthur’s Camelot!

Oh, Goodness, it ain’t took too long before I already have trouble up to my hat’s brim what with Mr. Merlin, Miss Morgana, and a big mean knight in black armour getting bristly with me. Gee whiz, if I ain’t careful, I might end up wrecking there ever having been a Western Civilization!

The Title of Temperance by Ichabod Temperance

The Title of Temperance (The Adventures of Ichabod Temperance Book 8)Quirky Ichabod Temperance is back…both the character and the author! This time out Ichabod geos back in time to the days when knights were brave and strong. But how did he get there, one minute he was in the year 1877 getting knocked out and when he awoke, he was in The Dark Ages, a time of unrest, a time where King Arthur and his Knights lived. Ichabod finds himself caught between being a brave and trusted young man, offered knighthood and his fear of changing history. Okay, so he wasn’t afraid to change history so much that he wouldn’t share a few modern inventions, like, say, the FORK? Caught in a world with Miss Plumtartt’s beautiful double, Ichabod has a heck of a time keeping names straight! Don’t they think he is a bit, um, different? What havoc will his visit cause for the future, heck can he even get back?

The Title of Temperance is another unique tale told in the equally unique style of author Ichabod Temperance. Told through more dialogue than action, the reader will definitely feel like they are standing among the ladies and knights of the time. Chuckle at the language barrier between the ages, as once again Ichabod charms his way through another adventure only he could discover!
