 Weave a Murderous Web

Weave a Murderous WebJane is a strong, confident attorney. She is powerful, intelligent and rarely is caught unaware, which is why a favor for a friend with a friend going through a particularly heinous divorce has her, at times, clutching for her sanity, as well as her life. As she barrels into the abyss of drugs, deceit and murder, the search for hidden assets becomes almost obsessive for her, because someone is a liar, someone is a murderer and Jane becomes stuck in the middle, caught between her own curiosity, client privilege and a tough old detective that knows more than he lets on.

Missing keys, missing money, a pampered and self-absorbed wife who may just be one carat short in the sanity department all pile up in preparation to bulldoze Jane into an early grave. Who can she trust? The detectives are hard to read, are they friend or foe? Is the client using her to find the illegal hidden money so she can steal it? What about the handsome man she has been seeing? Jane doesn’t have a butler, so he isn’t a suspect…still, someone wants her very dead, because she is too good at her job.

Sit back and take a deep breath, because once you begin reading Anne Rothman-Hicks and Kenneth Hicks latest thriller, Weave a Murderous Web, you will be on the edge of your seat until that last page. Mr. & Ms. Hicks are definitely the Dynamic Duo of suspense and thrillers as they load their tale with a chaotic group of characters, stir up the pot with a few break-ins, a little fire and one feisty-tough woman who will become your next favorite tough-as-nails . Details that bring each scene to life, dialogue that you can hear and a twisted plot that will make your head spin, this is great reading from two talented authors.

I received this copy from Ken & Anne Hicks in exchange for my honest review.
