My mother was right to fear me.
I’m an abomination.
And the world should be very afraid.

Sadie has been kidnapped by the Tor, the vindictive alien race who destroyed Thalassic City. As her past, present, and future collides, her worst nightmare looks set to become her shocking new reality.

A deliberate pawn in leader Griselda’s vengeful game, Sadie is horrified to learn the truth about her heritage and the destiny that’s already been mapped out for her. Refusing to cooperate, she risks paying the ultimate price for her defiance.

Love for Logan is her only motivation to stay alive. Saving him is the only thing that matters—the fate of the world depends upon it. While he may never forgive her, she’s determined to protect him. Until her dying breath.

Saven Denial by Siobhan Davis (Saven #2.5)

Saven Denial (Saven #2.5)She’s done it to me, again! … And I thought Siobhan Davis couldn’t raise the bar any higher! Reading Saven Denial was like opening a can of Whoop A**in my brain!

How much can Sadie take or has she finally reached that coming of age point where she is learning to rally herself against the latest secrets that are aimed at her? Sadie’s true past, rear ends her present and sends her future off the charts! Aliens, are at the root of all that torments Sadie, the unwilling pawn in an intergalactic tug of war for power and dominance. Now kidnapped by the Tor *cue evil organ music*and at the mercy of Griselda, Sadie is force fed her forgotten past, a past that will crush her to her very soul. Who is she? What is she? Is there a reason she fell for Logan, hook, line and sinker? Who is Axton and what part has he played in Sadie’s past? What part will he play in her future or is he just another rip in the fabric of Sadie’s sanity?

The fate of the universe, Earth and the warring aliens is said to be in the hands of Logan someday, but have the Tor mastered the feat of time travel? Do they have the power to change it or have they been playing puppet masters for an eternity, already? It is up to Sadie to keep Logan safe, at any cost and her heart won’t let her fail. How can she fight to save the future when she cannot even reconcile her own past or her own part in the events that are unfolding?

So, Siobhan Davis knows what she is doing to her readers, she even explains her actions AFTER she leaves us craving more, MORE, MORE! Kind of like asking forgiveness after the fact instead of asking permission prior? Call me a pushover, no explanations necessary! I loved every word, every moment of dangling on the edge of my seat, every hiss, sob and raised eyebrow I had.

Anyone looking for a series that just gets better and better, that defies the boundaries of the imagination, forcing us to leave our preconceived notions behind and live life in the fast lane of adventure, look no more, Siobhan Davis' Saven is here!!

I received an ARC edition from Siobhan Davis in exchange for my honest review.
