Books 1-3 of the Jamie Quinn Mystery Series! Including:

"Death by Didgeridoo"-Winner of the Indie Book of the Day award. Reluctant lawyer, Jamie Quinn, still reeling from the death of her mother, is pulled into a game of deception, jealousy, and vengeance when her cousin, Adam, is wrongfully accused of murder. It's up to Jamie to find the real murderer before it's too late. It doesn't help that the victim is a former rock star with more enemies than friends, or that Adam confessed to a murder he didn't commit.

"The Case of the Killer Divorce"-Reluctant lawyer, Jamie Quinn, has returned to her family law practice after a hiatus due to the death of her mother. It's business as usual until a bitter divorce case turns into a murder investigation, and Jamie's client becomes the prime suspect. When she can't untangle truth from lies, Jamie enlists the help of Duke Broussard, her favorite private investigator, to try to clear her client's name. And she’s hoping that, in his spare time, he can help her find her long-lost father.

"Peril in the Park"-There's big trouble in the park system. Someone is making life difficult for Jamie Quinn's boyfriend, Kip Simons, the new director of Broward County parks. Was it the angry supervisor passed over for promotion? The disgruntled employee Kip recently fired? Or someone with a bigger ax to grind? If Jamie can't figure it out soon, she may be looking for a new boyfriend because there’s a dead guy in the park and Kip has gone missing! With the help of her favorite P.I., Duke Broussard, Jamie must race the clock to find Kip before it’s too late.

A preview of the next Jamie Quinn Mystery, "Engaged in Danger," can be found at the end of the book.

Jamie Quinn Mystery Collection: Box Set Books 1-3Meet Jamie Quinn, family law attorney. Watch Jamie’s heart get her in over her head in legal matters for friends, family and clients. Everyone should know a Jamie, she breaks the stereotypical attorney mold at every turn!

The Jamie Quinn Mystery Collection: Box Set Books 1-3 by Barbara Venkataraman is a light read with a touch of intrigue, a death or two, the not-so-fun dealing with divorce clients and more! AND, they are all under one cover!

Death by Didgeridoo has Jamie turning over every stone to find the murderer of an obnoxious ex-rockstar when her young cousin is the prime suspect. With the help of her friends, including a classic P.I. with an ego and little black book as big as Texas. The list of those with a motive is as large as the New York phone book and time is running out, but Jamie will do anything of her cousin and her dogged determination and down to earth style is a treat to follow. A quick read with heart!

The Case of the Killer Divorce, as if there is any other kind? This time there really is a death, and with the bitter and ongoing feud between the combatants make the soon-to-be-ex-wife a pretty good pick for the murder of her estranged husband. She has motive (a bitter custody battle), a new boyfriend and plays the continual game of heartstring tug-of-war with the almost ex. Jamie is on the hunt for facts, but never expected what she would dredge up. One thing for sure, the butler didn’t do it. Clever, fast and a very well-kept secret!

Finally, getting a little closer to home for Jamie is Peril in the Park. Who knew being the head of the Broward County Parks could be so threatening and ominous? But the villain has barked up the wrong tree as Jamie’s boyfriend is the target for threats since taking over his new position. Political espionage? Old cronies with a secret? How can the preservation and care of the wonders of nature cause so much trouble? Who stole her boyfriend? Jamie’s on the hunt, heart in her hand and P.I. Duke at her side, has the Parks Director become an endangered species?

Jamie is a fun, humorous heroine with a determined streak a mile wide. Add the grit of P.I. “Duke” and they make a dynamic duo to surpass all dynamic duos!

Barbara Venkataraman has done a marvelous job of creating mysteries without that doom and gloom heaviness and given her characters so many facets to their lives. Jamie is more than an attorney, she is human and events in her personal life prove it while adding realistic depth to each tale. By adding facts and addressing real issues throughout her tales, Ms. Venkataraman brings Holiday, Florida and Broward County into a spotlight, heat, humidity and all!

If you read to be entertained, this should do the trick!

I received this copy from Barbara Venkatarman in exchange for my honest review.
