(Jamie Quinn Mysteries Book 4)

Engaged in Danger: A Jamie Quinn Mystery (Jamie Quinn Mysteries Book 4)Hang on for more from Jamie Quinn, whose life is going pretty well, if you don’t include the fact that her man is off for the thrills of the world down under for three months, (three LONG months) and just maybe she has hurt her best friend with that runaway mouth. Then again, business is good, Hollywood, FL is predictable, well, if you don’t count the wealthy woman seeking a divorce from one of the state’s biggest high profile cheating jerks. That should fill the coffers, well, but this jerk just happens to be a high profile attorney, himself.

It was this high profile divorce that will send Jamie on a perilous journey where she will discover a money laundering operation, secret accounts and what really happened when one of her closest friend’s sister and brother-in-law died in a mysterious plane crash.

Welcome to a cozy mystery that will NOT leave you afraid of your shadow or the guy wearing a black trench coat in the rain. Barbara Venkataraman’s Engaged in Danger is filled with twists, turns and one feisty female attorney who just can’t seem to stay out of trouble, even in the quiet town of Hollywood. Peppered with humor, great one-liners, and a few harrowing moments, as well as a ton of surprises from her quirky sidekicks, there’s always a great ending that will leave you smiling and just a little reluctant to return to the real world.

I received this copy from Barbara Venkataraman in exchange for my honest review.
