Flash to the “everyday” lives of mobs, drug lords, unthinkable deals with the devil, including a weapon of mass destruction. Somehow Anthony is now playing monkey in the middle with death, his quest, to foil the worldwide machinations of evil and just maybe come out alive.

APPOINTMENT WITH ISIL by Joe Giordano is a riveting chase around the world that will have gritty thriller lovers salivating for more from this talented and bold author. No fancy words or pretty phrases to soothe our senses, this is a contemporary thriller that addresses the uneasiness and secret dealings we never here about. Are there any heroes? Is Anthony a real hero, or rather an anti-hero thrown into the arena like Daniel in the Lions’ Den as he deals with the untrustworthy and his life? Action-packed, suspenseful and at times terrifying, clearly a must read for those who like hanging on the edge of the cliff by only their fingers.
