Forgotten by Jane Blythe (Detective Parker Bell, #5)

Forgotten (Detective Parker Bell #5)
How much more can the relationship between Tessa and Parker stand? These two have never had a normal couple’s relationship and Wyatt has long ago passed beyond the borders of friend and confidant for Tessa. While he claims a brotherly affection, Parker is being cast further and further out of the picture and for a man with so many skeletons in his closet, this is the last thing Parker needs. When a “Jane Doe” is brought into the hospital suffering from the same symptoms Tessa is very familiar with, her amnesia makes her vulnerable and afraid. Parker needs to be a knight in shining armor and his Tessa no longer needs him, she has her own group of supporters, including Wyatt. When Parker offers the “Jane Doe” a place to recuperate, a sinister plot will come to fruition and it may end Parker and Tessa forever if they do not find their way home again. Is Parker being duped by a phony or is it only Tessa who thinks so?

Determined to be the man who takes care of the woman he loves, Parker will do anything to make her safe, anything. Will Tessa appreciate his efforts? Will she finally see that he has needs, too? Her self-protecting attitude, her independent streak and her lack of compassion toward her own husband will tear at your heart.

Ms. Blythe’s , FORGOTTEN proves that her down-to-earth, gritty style is VERY well suited to the style that suspense lovers crave.

Jane Blythe is riding the razor’s edge of intrigue with FORGOTTEN no safety net will rescue the readers as we plunge into the abyss that is Tessa and Parker’s world. Hang on tight because this one will bring an avalanche of emotions, as one wonders, did that really happen? Now what will happen? One of the most dramatic endings ever will leave you frozen in shock and split on how you feel about it!
