Wooing a she-wolf isn't as easy as it looks in this bold paranormal romance from USA Today bestseller Terry Spear

In Silver Town, the secrets run deep...

Alpha werewolf Brett Silver has an ulterior motive when he donates a prized family heirloom to the Silver Town hotel. Ellie MacTire owns the place with her sisters, and he's out to get her attention.

Ellie is even more special than Brett knows. She's a wolf-shifter with a unique ability to commune with the dead. Ellie has been ostracized, so she protects herself and those she loves by revealing nothing-not even when strange and dangerous things begin to happen in Silver Town. And especially not to the devastatingly handsome and generous wolf who's determined to win her over...

Between a Wolf and a Hard Place by Terry Spear
(Heart of the Wolf #21) (Silver Town Wolf Book 7)

Between a Wolf and a Hard PlaceIt all started with a calculated donation to the Silver Town Hotel. What alpha werewolf Brett had intended was to get the attention of one of the owners, wolf shifter Ellie MacTire. He never expected to find out just how special Ellie was or that his great-aunt’s piano was haunted by a very determined ghost with a message to deliver, a message she knew Ellie would hear.

Meanwhile, slow and steady is the course that Brett must take to win Ellie’s heart, but is she just playing hard-to-get or is she really not sure the kind-hearted, but strong Brett is the wolf for her? Is she even ready to settle down and make puppies? Until the ghost of the piano is tamed or freed, these two will spend quality time making sweet music as a supernatural duet.

Can Brett learn to believe in the ghosts that Ellie sees or will he become one more wolf on her list of disappointments? And what about the ghost? Will Ellie discover what the message from beyond is?

Do NOT expect over the top blood, gore and posturing from Terry Spear or her wolves. There will NOT be pages and pages of sex with some story in between, but there will be romance, a feeling of calm and unity among the werewolves who seem to have made peace with themselves and those around them. A fun read that speaks softly but carries a huge entertainment value. BETWEEN A WOLF AND A HARD PLACE is further proof of the staying power of Terry Spear’s talent as an author.

I received an ARC edition from Sourcebooks Casablanca in exchange for my honest review.
