The dead don’t always rest easy...
Retired detective, Danny Mancini, is haunted by nightmares after he found out that paranormal creatures exist. All he wants is to forget them…especially a certain half-vampire. When cursed werewolves show up trying to kill him, he is forced to go back to the Paranormal Investigative Division for help against a powerful old enemy. What he was not expecting was a dead ex showing back up after twenty-six years.

Miranda's Rights by Lily Luchesi (Paranormal Detectives, #2)

Miranda's RightsDanny Mancini still hasn’t gotten used to the fact that the paranormal exist. No matter how hard he tries, he will never forget, especially when he has become a target for cursed werewolves and he finds he must go back to where it all started for him, the Paranormal Investigative Division and Angela, the half vampire who equally repulses him and pulls him in.

When Danny’s long dead ex shows up, will it be for Danny’s personal Armageddon after he dumped her for having become something other? Miranda has an agenda and it has been years in the making. Add a nasty witch and watch Danny’s turmoil as once again, he learns far more than he ever wished to about himself, Angelica and a past they shared. Can you say, love triangle of sorts?

Are you ready to learn more about Angelica and her life? Sit back, strap in and get ready for a rapid-fire tale that spans POVs, time and creates reading vortex that is hard to escape until the end of the ride!

MIRANDA’S RIGHTS by Lily Luchesi showcases this author’s ability to really dig in and immerse readers in a tale that comes to life with all of its characters shortcomings, strong points and is rich in the feel of tense darkness. This time out, Ms. Luchesi colors in the blanks and plumps up each character while maintaining an air of mystery until the very end! A very strong addition to a series that now has me hooked on both the reading and the author!

I received this copy from Lily Luchesi in exchange for my honest review.
