To die, to sleep.
To sleep, perchance to dream – ay, there’s the rub
For in that sleep of death what dreams may come…
(Hamlet, 3.1)
Grace is dead. Not the fleeting, magical, mysterious death of resurrection, but truly, unequivocally, eternally dead. She knows she’s dead because Roman told her. And why would he lie when he is dying too?

Eternal Grace by Elizabeth Davies (Resurrection, #5)

Eternal GraceIt was Grace’s first time to travel to the future, still having no control over when she leaves or when she returns. What she sees is a future filled with a devastated Roman, a niece she will never know and her brother, a man changed by the harshness of life. Grace also saw just how short her “eternity” will be, just a few short years and Grace will enter the final death. It will be that meeting with her Roman of the future that will begin a chain of events that will mean the difference between life and death for those she loves. All she has to do is travel back and forth through time to create a recipe for a “miracle.”

Can she and Roman change the future? Will their tampering with science alter the lives they haven’t lived yet? Could it be that an unknown strain of flu will spell disaster for the future? An antidote must be found, and the secret lies in the blood of two survivors and possibly Grace, herself, but someone has been playing with fate already and Roman and Grace as in a mad dash to play catch up before time runs out.

Elizabeth Davies’ ETERNAL GRACE is the final addition to her Resurrection series, and as the final curtain fell on that last page, I was a little in awe of the events in this tale and completely lost in the concept of time travel, its possibilities and just how realistic these characters were! High on tension, opening on truly heartbreaking reading, the love between Roman and Grace is so obvious, regardless of their being vampires or not.

Ms. Davies has combined a little science fiction, a little paranormal and a lot of brilliant twists that unfold in a chaotic and emotionally desperate way that showcases the seriousness of what must be achieved! I love the atmosphere of this series and the concepts that bring one more fascinating avenue for the world of vampires to travel!

I received this copy from Elizabeth Davies in exchange for my honest review.
