Dissent by Eliza Green (Feeder # 1.5)

Dissent (Feeder, #1.5)Eliza Green takes us back into a world of deceit and manipulation with DISSENT. Unlike many sequels or add-ons told from a different POV, this time out we get so much more.
Dom was a little mysterious in FEEDER and now we learn exactly why, as well as his unusual relationship with Sheila, the girl we couldn’t quite like much of the time before. They came to Arcis the same way other children came, as orphans, after their parents were killed by rebels, or so it seems, as they are placed in the program that “builds” good adults. The difference is, they KNOW THE TRUTH and are prepared to do whatever it takes to save lives and expose the true monsters for who they really are as they traverse the levels to completion and re-education. This is their story, told through eyes and hearts clear of the poisons they are drugged with. This is a troy of finding someone to care about, and risking everything to do the right thing and all they have to do is survive and escape, but will they?

This is NOT a rehash of FEEDER, sure there are events re-told, but the depth of these characters and what they are going through is fresh, as they struggle to survive to the very end, unaware if they will be able to get their intel to their allies. Ms. Green has carved out true personalities and realistic emotions in these characters with the hearts of heroes. Loved every page!

I received an ARC edition from Eliza Green in exchange for my honest review.
