This is Book 1 (the prequel) of a series on the five Carmichael sisters. It is a standalone novel for mature readers.
Corinne by Charlotte Penn Clark (The Carmichaels, #1)

Corinne (The Carmichaels, #1)Corinne has struggled to be her own person in her high-profile political family. When her modeling career takes her to Hawaii and into the arms of the charming French photographer, Paul, she finds her world finally complete until a family disaster shakes her confidence in the value of relationships if they can cause unbearable pain.

Charlotte Penn Clark’s Corinne is part romance, part family saga. Corinne comes across a little naïve to Paul’s incredible patience and stability which is truly a gift as she struggles to hold her family together through the worst of times.

A little too short for the gravity of events, and the side stories of each of Corinne’s sisters. The sensual bits seemed to feel tucked in a little too quickly and haphazardly.

I received a complimentary copy of the entire Carmichael Series!
