God's Forsaken by David Brevik (The Guilty Ones Book 1)

God's Forsaken (The Guilty Ones Book 1)You thought you knew all about epic fantasies? You were an action and adventure aficionado? You’ve seen quirky humor and clever characters do the unexpected? Do you have a handle on angels and what they are like? Take a look at David Brevik’s GOD’S FORSAKEN and you just might find a fresh twist on fantasy reading!

Michel is the Angel of Death, an assassin who never goes anywhere without his suitcase. He is also a family man, a little dry, but definitely daring and used to getting his own way. Until he meets Vipa, a whirling dervish of a huntress with attitude in spades, a quirky, wry sense of humor and her own unique gang!

So what does an angel assassin who is used to flying solo do when he suddenly finds himself with his back against the wall while dealing with an overbearing huntress, a vampire and a humanoid lizard? Hang on tight for this fantasy adventure! It has scene after scene after scene that makes a thousand piece puzzle seem plain!

David Brevik’s writing feels like a personal fantasy, where the heroes just “have” what they need when they need it! The only thing missing is the “BIFF,” the “POW,” and just maybe a little more respect for Michel! A fun read with laugh out loud moments, daring action scenes and the inside scoop on what an angel does when he is just plain old Dad! Give it try, you’ll thank me!

I received a complimentary copy from David Brevik!
