Nara Collins is an average sixteen-year-old, with one exception: every night she dreams the events of the following day. Due to an incident in her past, Nara avoids using her special gift to change fate...until she dreams a future she can't ignore.

After Nara prevents a bombing at Blue Ridge High, her ability to see the future starts to fade, while people at school are suddenly being injured at an unusually high rate.

Grappling with her diminishing powers and the need to prevent another disaster, Nara meets Ethan Harris, a mysterious loner who seems to understand her better than anyone. Ethan and Nara forge an irresistible connection, but as their relationship heats up, so do her questions about his dark past.
Brightest Kind of Darkness by P.T. Michelle
(Brightest Kind of Darkness #1)

Brightest Kind of Darkness (Brightest Kind of Darkness, #1)Can you imagine dreaming of your NEXT day? Nara does and she learned the hard way NOT to do anything to try to change the future. Until she dreams of a bomb and she knows she cannot ignore it. Is she tempting Fate? Should the future be an unknown, unchanged by the present, which by then would be the past? For every action, there is a reaction and Fate may not react too kindly.

When her “powers” begin to fade, Ethan comes into her life, dark, mysterious and “different.” Is there something about Ethan that is changing her gift?

THE BRIGHTEST KIND OF DARKNESS by P.T. Michelle isn’t a rapid-fire, high action read, but it also isn’t filled with teen angst, and the main characters actually have pretty good heads on their shoulders! Ethan, of course has his mysterious ways, and his past is something he avoids talking about, with good reason.

Nara finds as her powers fade, she must rely on her own skills to muddle through the world, just like everyone else and after the initial shock wore off, she tried!

P.T. Michelle has just enough mystery, a few intriguing twists and of course, Ethan, with that tattoo…The End! And the hook is set for the next book in the series! A nice start to this series that looks to be a definite young adult must read!
