The Adventure of a Lifetime . . .
Ethan Drake is a living legend.
If only his late father had mentioned it.
Ethan and his friends decode a series of cryptic riddles from an ancient treasure map. Their discovery entangles them in a centuries-old struggle between warring secret societies.
It soon becomes clear that Ethan is not just an adventurous teen who accidentally stumbles upon a shadowy world.
He is a catalyst…
a spark which ignites the resurgence.
The Three Hares is a smart, twisty adventure mystery, one that will keep you reading until the remarkable end.
The Three Hares: Bloodline by Geoffrey Simpson
Young readers need adventure! They need to feel part of a story that is larger than life and Geoffrey Simpson has created a most wonderful tale filled with imagination, mystery and populated it with young teens who become more than they could have ever believed!
Three teens will accidentally become part of a secret organization of protectors against evil as they uncover a special map, ancient secrets and a family legacy that Ethan Drake never knew he shared.
Ethan, Jacob and Liz will find themselves caught up in a world that fantasies are made of as they stand for good in the eternal battle with evil, all to protect their town and its secrets. Winslow Falls never seemed more than home until Ethan’s attic revealed a hidden map that would lead him to more than simple treasure, it would lead him to the Three Hare Society, and to fulfilling a purpose he was born for.
Geoffrey Simpson’s THREE HARES: BLOODLINE builds upon the story of two boys who were never short of their own adventures and becomes a fabulous tale of larger-than-life action as one boy, finds he is the long awaited hero destined to keep evil at bay. Wonderful characters come to life, centering on Ethan, Jacob and then Liz as moments of danger and uncertainty are softened with moments of humor.
Written for middlegrade readers on up, the voices of these teens are contemporary and relatable, as we watch them come of age against all odds. Mr. Simpson understands his audience and gives them a reason to want to read, to push their imaginations to the limit and beyond as young heroes are born. Page after page the tension builds, and the pace quickens as this author unleashes the forces of creativity on his target audience. I particularly enjoyed the importance of strong bonds and friendships between these young characters as they learned to value standing united.
The best part? There is more to come as this series takes off on solid footing, the sky is the limit! Give a gift of great reading ! Highly recommended!
