In the Silver Creek romance Unexpected, Cole Mitchell found love in the last place he ever thought to look. Now, in USA Today bestselling author Maisey Yates’ newest novel, Cole’s little sister Lark is determined to have her turn…

Having never left the family ranch, Lark Mitchell needs a little adventure—or at least a romance that isn’t confined to the internet. Her older brothers Cole and Cade have always been too good at protecting her innocence, but even they can’t stop her from taking a second job—where her boss just so happens to be the kind of bad boy she craves. Too bad he’s also the one guy in Silver Creek she should never touch…

When Quinn Parker introduces himself, Lark tries to quit on the spot. Everyone knows Quinn was behind the accident that ended Cade’s rodeo career. But when he holds her to her contract, she can’t help wanting to get even closer. As she begins to see the man behind the gossip, she sees that not all of the things people say about him are true…even if there’s plenty about this bad boy she has yet to discover

My Review:
Untouched by Maisey Yates

Untouched is a fun loving story of a ranch raised computer geek seduced by their families' arch – enemy and cowboy, bad boy.

Lark Mitchell wants to start living her life to its fullest and her first attempt leads her right into the arms of the man believe to almost kill her brother for a win at the rodeo.

Quinn Parker wants his old life back. He's felt empty inside since he was suspended from the rodeo when he was falsely accused of causing Cade Mitchell nearly fatal injury. Quinn will stop at nothing to regain his old life including seducing the Mitchell's young sister.

I found myself loving Lark. She was quirky but learning to live by taking life by the proverbial horns.

Quinn was very self centered and more difficult to connect with. Although he makes strides to a fulfilling life at times I wanted to smack him in the back of his head and knock some sense into him.

Maisey Yates creates a very entertaining read with this angry, sexy cowboy's transformation found in the unlikely strength and love of the quirky computer geek. Heart felt emotions and two characters with wounded past build a fascinating ranch romance to enjoy.

I received this ARC copy of Untouched from PENGUIN GROUP Berkley, NAL / Signet Romance, DAW - InterMix in exchange for a honest review. This book is set for publication January 21, 2014.
