She’s everything Dan Vindico has ever wanted. Fionna Styler embodies every single thing he told himself could never exist inside of one woman. She’s beautiful, smart, funny, powerful, and she’s his… almost.

No one can know they’re together. The Interfeci would never let her live. It was an inevitability, but Dan simply cannot resist her.

After a vow to somehow keep her safe, Dan learns what that really entails. Betrayal, scandal, millions of dollars, and watching her in the arms of other men are only the beginning, when danger intrudes into every sanctuary he secures.

Dan can’t determine if the demons in his soul or the monsters outside are more vicious, but Fionna’s life depends solely on him. That blasted tomb is ever-present in his mind. Can he save the Angel who managed to pull him from the depths of hell, the one he longs to make his own?

A  SPECIAL GUEST POST FROM JILLIAN NEAL

“Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!” Can you believe next week is Thanksgiving? You know as soon as you scoot your chair back from the table that we’ll all be thrust full-force down that proverbial slippery slope that usually lands me slumped underneath the Christmas tree trying to match the perfect bow to the gift with my eyes closed because I’ve fallen asleep.
We all do it. I think mothers are the very worst about doing this. We want our kiddos to have a “perfect” Christmas or a “perfect” holiday season in general. We want to have the “perfect” gifts for our friends and relatives. We want to throw the “perfect” holiday party. And we’ll work our fingers to the bone trying to achieve our idea of perfection.
It is Christmas time in “The Gifted Realm,” as well. Dan, Fionna, Rainer, Emily, the Haydenshires, and all of their friends and cohorts are celebrating the season. None of the festivities end up going quite the way they all envisioned, however.
Fionna has great plans to give Dan a very special, sexy treat for Christmas Eve. Dan, however, can see that her plans are going awry, and he shows her that as long as they’re in this together somehow everything will work out.
Adeline’s father, the Australian Caliph’s son, is visiting Haydenshire farm for the holidays. This cramps most everyone’s style, but we see that there are a few things Adeline will stand up for, primarily, Logan.
The press finds out about Rainer’s gifts for Emily. If Dan can’t heal Fionna on Christmas Eve, she’s going to spend Christmas, without him, in the hospital.
Mrs. Haydenshire’s latest pregnancy isn’t improving. Things keep going wrong, but somehow love gets each couple through.
When Dianne asked me what I would like to do for the giveaway with the release of “An Angel All His Own,” I knew immediately that I wanted to do something for all of the women that sacrifice everything for their families, for work, for friends, and for their communities. I want to give you the opportunity to put yourself at the top of your own Christmas list if only for a few minutes. I want you to give yourself a little love this holiday season.
Heck, if that means taking your copy of “An Angel All His Own” and locking yourself in the bathroom while Uncle Johnny and Cousin Jeb duke it out over the political affiliation of your Thanksgiving turkey then have at it! (I did once take my laptop to my master bathroom and type out two chapters during Thanksgiving dessert one year. I had simply had enough family!)
The winner will receive four heavenly scented “Angel” candles from Yankee Candle Company, a box of Christmastime tea, and a signed copy of my first novel, “Within the Realm.” To me this says: bubble bath time! Light those candles, make some tea, and sink into a sexy novel. What could be better? Whatever you decide to do to take care of yourself, please remember that you deserve a fantastic holiday season as well. Even if that means that Cousin Jeb has to eat a “liberal” turkey or that your darling son has to wear a store-bought robe to re-enact the Christmas story. It will all be well. Take a little time for yourself.
There is no better gift to yourself or to others than a great book!

Ok, that's what I tell people, here's the real deal: I’m a Southern girl with a sassy mouth that occasionally gets the better of me. I’m an author, and a mama, and a wife to my high-school sweetheart that still keeps me smiling and my skirt flying up after all these years. I’m an Allure magazine obsessed, shoe-aholic, java junkie, toe ring lovin' girl, that creates characters, love scenes, and entire worlds on the fly while I’m in the carpool line at the school. I’m usually running around with my hair and my pen on fire! My granddaddy always said- "She's full of smarts, sass, and sizzle and that's a lot to get into barely five feet of girl with her head always in the clouds!"

  9. My husband takes the children to the park or to town for a bit and I have a nice cup of tea and light my candles (or he does it before he leaves) and the dogs and I get settled in bed or on the couch and read and read and read. That is my idea of quiet "me" time. Or, if it's summer, I might get in the pool while he takes the children and float all by myself. Usually, though, I choose to read.
