Will love keep them together, or will greed triumph and tear them apart?

Lord Bachelor by Tammy L. Bailey

Lord BachelorThe clock is ticking on the total destruction of Lord Edmund Rushfield’s life of excess. An admitted spoiled wastrel, money has never been an object for his follies but on his twenty-sixth birthday, according to his father’s will, if he doesn’t have a wealthy wife of superior breeding, or at least one in the wings waiting to say “I do,” like Cinderella’s elegant horses to pull her magical carriage, all he will be left with are a few rats scurrying around.

After few beers with an old buddy, they hatch a plan that helps them both out. After all, his days of being able to tease adorable and feisty barmaids like Abby Forester are likely to come to a screeching halt. Why not join in on an American dating show, where he picks the future Mrs. from a dozen bluebloods with excellent pedigrees. Okay, so they had eleven, and adding in the impoverished Abby makes it an even dozen.

Of course, there is something about Abby, that drives Edmund to distraction and not actually knowing how love feels, he finds himself thoroughly enamored of this very American, most definitely NOT upper crust dynamo full of life and determination.
For Abby, Edmund is beautiful, frustrating and clueless to the realities of life and yet, he pushes very button she has. When life goes from bad to worse for Abby, who is there to help her with his rakish grin and warm arms, Edmund, whose closet is bigger than her entire apartment.

Prepare to feel that zing of romance, the bubbling laughter caused by their banter and to throw your hands up in the air in frustration as these two dance around the obvious, all because a few million pounds. Is Edmund chasing money for naught? Has his evil relative figured out how to trick Edmund into losing his fortune? Time to grow up, Edmund, before you lose the money and the girl and finally realize which one is the true greatest wealth a man can have!

Lord Bachelor by Tammy L. Bailey is a delightful romp through the gardens of love, thorns and all. Witty banter, two lovable characters and a skewed look at life from polar opposite perceptions, what’s not to love about this fun romance? Wildly entertaining, very well written, a little fluff to lighten up a dreary day!

I received this copy from Tammy L. Bailey in exchange for my honest review.
