A season of hope . . .'Tis the season in Shenandoah Falls and the first time Willow Peterson has been home in years. But she's determined to fulfill the wishes of her recently deceased best friend and restore Eagle Hill Manor to its former glory-all in time to host the perfect holiday wedding. She just has to get the owner of the historic inn to hire her. Unfortunately, that means dealing with Scrooge himself...

After the death of his wife, David Lyndon has a bah-humbug approach to Christmas. But as December counts down and the wedding planning is in full swing, it's harder and harder to stay immune to the charms of Willow, especially when he sees how much joy she brings his eight-year-old daughter. After a simple kiss under the mistletoe turns into something more, David is hoping he can turn the magic of the holiday season into the love of a lifetime.

A Christmas Bride by Hope Ramsay

A Christmas BrideAhh, mistletoe, peace on Earth, jingle bells AND wedding bells! Dashing through the snow to get to the church on time, sounds heavenly, dreamy and so romantic. Too bad for beautiful Willow Peterson her reason for going back to Shenandoah Falls was for the funeral of a dear friend who left behind an unfinished restoration of a historic inn for a holiday wedding. David Willow, owner of the inn and widower has nothing but contempt for the holidays, even though he knows his young daughter still believes in the magic of the season. His resolve is weakened as Willow’s kind heart and generous nature thaws his ice cold heart; and that kiss under the mistletoe…kindles more than just warm friendship and thoughts of hot chocolate. If his politically driven family has anything to say about, there will be no more mistletoe moments and the lovely Willow will be left behind when David takes to the campaign trail. Is he really the man Willow needs or is he a puppet for his family to command?

Small town romance, the sounds of Christmas and conflicts far from the kindness of the season, A CHRISTMAS BRIDE by Hope Ramsay is another magical offering for Holiday Romance junkies! Willow is a delight, far too kind-hearted to be able to stand up to the calculating cruelty of the Willow family. David has long been under the thumb of his mother and I really, really wanted to take that man aside and give him a good talking to! The show stopping character was David’s young daughter, gotta love the sweet innocence and unfiltered words that fly from the mouths of a child. A quick read, filled with angst and issues, hopes and dreams, and a shot of reality.

I received this copy from Forever in exchange for my honest review.
