As if the Supernatural London Underground couldn’t open up any further, Romarin is immersed in different cultures, struggles, and factions— including the revelation of her first dangerous foe—that make the hidden world what it is: treacherous. As a detective in pursuit of a Jack The Ripper type killer, Romarin’s sole purpose is to destroy evidence of their secret world, reminding her of how blurred all of their roles are, and that the price for that could very well be one’s life. With rumors of a safe haven, an island where people like her can go to be free and understood, perhaps she won’t need the cure she vehemently seeks. A cure for a broken heart however, that’s another story. And then a cure for a burning heart? That’s just impossible.

The Frost Bloom Garden by Romarin Demetri
(The Supernatural London Underground Book 2)

The Frost Bloom Garden (The Supernatural London Underground, #2)A descendant of Countess Bathory, Romarin hides her secret well. No sense in scaring her unique housemates or showing her true powers and nature. There has been a murder and informants have collected the grisly details. But, there is more to this than meets the eye and Romarin is determined to uncover what could be her first and most dangerous opponent while destroying any evidence that the Supernatural Underground even exists. There is evidence a serial murderer is on the loose and he may not be human. Has Jack the Ripper returned? Who are his targets and why?

Gruesome murder, undefined danger and dark secrets abound as Romarin Demetri takes us back into Romarin’s world where treachery abounds and death could hide behind every corner in THE FROST BLOOM GARDEN. Hang on tight as this train barrels out of the station along the twisted rails of the supernatural and the bold writing of Romarin Demetri.

With trust issues in the house, fear of those more powerful and too many hidden pasts that could be unveiled and few humans who know of the supernatural, this has become a tightrope walk where one false step means eternal death.

When an unknown source seems to be helping Romarin, she must discover who is behind this unsolicited aid and what the motives are. With so many fences to straddle, Romarin risks her life and her heart as a mysterious being comes to her aid and a roommate struggles for the control of her body and mind from one of her past lives.

Filled with a maze of twists, a huge cast of characters and an almost undiscoverable mystery, why wouldn’t a trip to another dimension not be in order? Romarin Demtri has another dark and gritty tale that promises to keep you riveted to each page!

As always, the characters feel human(okay, mostly human), supernatural gifts abound and Romarin may have to risk exposing herself to keep her “family” safe.

I received an ARC edition from Romarin Demetri in exchange for my honest review.
