Trapped inside a long-foretold prophecy, demonic horse-men and soul-seekers roam the fire-ravaged world haunting and seeking out Maria who must learn to trust no one. As the angels watch on, will she survive Lucifer’s army of the damned, keep her only friend safe and repay the debts of sin?

Pay for My Sin by Iryna K. Combs

Pay for My SinIf you are familiar with and enjoyed the Left Behind Series by Tim La Haye and Jerry B. Jenkins, you will enjoy Iryna Combs’ PAY FOR MY SIN, the story of the Rapture and the Tribulations of the end of times as humanity is given one last chance to accept and trust in God or fall to the lies and treachery of the Devil. When the Rapture comes, one believer offers her own soul in exchange for the salvation of her family’s corrupted souls, In exchange she is willing to endure the next seven years until the end of times and the re-birth of a world of goodness and faith in the Christian God.

Heavily referenced with biblical predictions of each devastating event, Maria practices her belief in saving souls at any cost and takes one lost soul under her protection and care, forming a bond that may or may not save her friend. As angels come to her aid in her most trying and dark times, Maria uses the shield of her faith to steer clear of the minions of darkness and their false churches and god.

Written through the eyes and heart of Maria, this dark tale brings prophecy to life as each event unfolds and Maria struggles with her own strength of faith and hopes to see her family once again. Iryna Combs has written a taut and edgy fantasy that will resonate for fantasy lovers, no matter their personal beliefs. Instead of using mythical gods or beings from pure fantasy, she has used the concept of religion and faith in the unseen. High on turmoil, vivid scenes of terror come to life as one woman endures what she must in hopes of eternal salvation.

Told through the day to day life of Maria, this tale of survival is well-written and tense.

I received this copy from Iryna Combs in exchange for my honest and voluntary review.
